Crowd Funding Success Step 7 of 18 Build Your List's

It is time to develop your first list of potential supporters which include, family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, enemies, this is not the time to be selective, anyone is a potential supporter.

Now you need to ask them if you have their support, just ask.



Then you create a second list, this list is built by asking the people from the first list, if they know anybody that would help you out. This is the art of getting the referral.

Your third list should consist of all of your online contacts that you neglected to put on the first two list, leave no stone unturned or breathing soul undisturbed.

That's it, step 7 was a breeze. List are used in every industry, especially sales. They are important, because, without it, you could miss the one person you thought you asked. That person could be the one to catapult your project to success.

Here's a Tip: You may have to ask people on your list several times, up to seven times before they respond to your call to action.

We are gods! Started as a movie idea and I would very much like to see that happen. So how do we get there from here?

You have to have a good road map. However the best laid plans do not mean anything without the help and support from family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and others.

Why should you be willing to help me bring my novel to the market? Great rewards for one thing, but there is a better reason. By your willingness to help with this project, you will become a publisher an editor and a benefactor of a novel/movie that will change our thought process and liberate the mind. Of course it is a fictional story and to my knowledge the events that take place never really happened.


We are gods! Is a novel about a world where mankind will be enlightened about the risk, rewards and destructive nature of their inherent god complex.

Crowdfunding Success step 6 of 18 research similar Blogs

In my last post I shared with you my 5th step on how to start a successful crowdfunding campaign. Here is an image to help you remember step five.

Recently I was asked for some advice on how to get people to fund their special project. My advice was to turn your story, that is in your head into a tangible visual, that others can see and identify with.

Blogging can be that visual, blogging is an art, and just like drawing a picture anyone can do it. You do not have to be a professional artist and your artwork does not have to be exactly like the original image. All that it takes is a willing desire to just do it. NO NIKE YOU CAN NOT SUE ME FOR THOSE THREE WORDS.

Notice above I said research other similar blogs, not copy them. Your blog must be unique, it must be you. However a hallmark of success is imitation, so research other blogs, sign up, become an active participant. Leave comments, if there was something you liked say so, if there was something you disagreed with, tell them.

Now how does this help you with your crowdfunding campaign? Once you have become an active participant on someone else blog, you can tell them about your blog. They will understand what it is your are doing, and most will not mind, if you have been an active contributor of their blog.

Start discovering new blogs today, especially blogs that are similar to yours.

A novel that started out as a Movie in my head.

Everyone has a story in their head that just has to be told, and if you do not tell the story, it will not leave you alone. Some of us have multiple stories in our head. We Are gods! is one of those stories in my head. Really, it is pictures and images like a dream you have while you are awake.

How To Start A Successful Crowdfunding Campaign

This is Step 5 of 18 Start A Blog

Currently I am in the process of developing a Kickstarter Campaign, to help me self publish, We Are gods the novel.

If you are not familiar with kickstarter.com, it is a crowdfunding platform, where people go to showcase their creative projects. These projects range from music to film, a new tech gadget or an ergonomic harness that helps you with your posture. If you have not heard about the great potato salad caper, you should really take a gander at this project to see the potential of crowdfunding campaigns.

Crowdfunding consist of two parties, creators and backers, the creators produce the dreams and the backers produce the funds to make those dreams come true. The backers also serve another purpose, they can become supporters for the project by telling others about the project. You may be thinking what do the backers get in return? In most cases they are the first recipients of the product that the project produces as well as other rewards.

There is a larger reward that is often overlooked in this relationship between the creator and the backer. What is that? I am glad you asked.

What if the roles become reversed, now the backer has a project, a dream, a wish upon a star, at least he or she know of one person that should be willing to assist them. Crowdfunding allows you to build a strong business, and personal relationship. And if the original creator ask his other backers/supporters to help with that new project, than certainly the new project's creator has quantified his or her efforts.

I would like to enlist your support for my novel, We Are gods.

My project is not about the money, although I am greatly appreciative of what ever you offer. My project is about you the backer/supporter.

I want as many people as I can possibly get to back this project, that is why the very first reward will automatically give you access to the novel at the completion of the campaign.
