Creating Active Income Through Online Publishing

Creating Active Income Through Online Publishing

What about Passive Income? You may ask.

Passive income is the caveat of incomes and who doesn't dream of waking up first thing in the morning to discover while you were sleeping your financial holdings grew by another five thousand dollars. But wait, that is nothing, how about one hundred thousand dollars. The foundation was laid months even years ago, and now you watch the cash flow like unending streams of water collecting its resources from the clouds.

Yep, while you sleep, eat, engage in the novelties of life, your past activities are making you money.

Yeah, that is the dream.

You can wake up now; it is just a dream, you still have to go and make the doughnuts. Unless...

Unless you have a thriving real estate empire, several hit gold records, or you have struck it rich in the stock market, and your dividends continue to grow exponentially.

Of course, there are other streams of passive income, but likely passive income is the spawn of active income.

Each of us must learn to create streams of active income to achieve financial independence.

Active income requires time and patience and work.

Thirty to forty percent of our working time is spent earning money for someone else we eventually need to turn that time into profits that will transform, morph into passive income.

What can you actively do once and have the potential to earn money continually?

Times up, your answer, please.

That is right, if you said write a book, you are correct.

Write a book once sell it a million or more times.

Hence creating active income through online publishing. The internet has made this process obtainable for anyone willing to buy out the time.

IinCmm.com wants to help, however, since I started writing about self-publishing the cost to do so has continued to rise.

This blog has maintained the idea if you can help enough people achieve their dream those individuals will help the creator achieve his goal.

Financial Freedom

Your Book a Money Book ???

Write It, Publish It, Grow It Your Book a Money Book???

Currently, I am writing my sixth book, my third novel and I am forty-one thousand words into it. While writing it, I am trying to compromise on the title. The first title was Umbrella. Then I thought I might call it The Umbrella Clause, now I am thinking of being right in the middle of the two with the title The Umbrella or Umbrella Clause.

I know you are saying is that all you have to worry about really?

No, I also have to complete a new blog, of which I had an idea for about a while ago. Your Book A Money Book. However, I did not want to mislead you into thinking that it would be easy for you to write a book and make money off of it let alone it becoming a bestseller.

Recently I read a line that said something to this effect, (writing a book and it becoming a bestseller and the book making money is like winning the lottery, there are only a very few winners) if you recall seeing that statement let me know so that I can give the writer their due credit.

I am not advocating playing the lottery especially considering the addiction that comes with the euphoria of a chance to become an instant millionaire. But “you cannot win if you do not play” is what I’ve always been told. My answer is No, No Thank You.

Now, if we translate the above statement, “you cannot win if you do not play” in to living a better life via your dreams, or doing what you love. Is that a substantial argument?

Let’s consider some examples. I have chosen my top five authors for this argument. Now if your dream is not to become an author or write a book, the information will still apply. All you have to do is pick the top five successful people in your chosen arena of play. Sports, entertainment, political ambitions, philanthropy, business, it does not matter.

The one thing that I am sure of is no matter what the arena the top five successful people that you chose have either written a book or someone has written a book about them. In either scenario, they are getting paid. There book is a money book. Not only was the book a money book but the book became a bestseller at some point, and remains a bestseller.

My top five authors:
William Shakespeare
Charles Dickens
Robert Kiyosaki
Napoleon Hill
George S. Clason

The most famous Authors
 smashinglist.com
William Shakespeare
Charles Dickens
George Orwell
Jk Rowling
Virginia Woolf

Highest Paid Authors 2017
From Forbes List Top 10
JK Rowling
James Patterson
Jeff Kinney
Dan Brown
Stephen King

If you were to layout your list. What would it look like?

None of the above authors would have become rich, famous, or make someone's list of top five authors if they were not playing the game.

Just as none of the people on your list would have done the same unless they were playing the game, the chance or opportunity just would not exist.

I am not going to bore you with the money each person made, but I assure you their books are Money Books without all of the question marks.

What I am trying to do is to encourage you to get in the game. Get off the bench and play.

We will start with William Shakespeare, of course, he does not need an introduction but let’s consider his humble beginnings.

A commoner turned actor to go on to write some of the most famous and read works in history. His father was a glover and mom was a daughter of a farmer. He was the third child of eight and likely attending a free school.

So, to say he was born into money would be a contradiction. But it is obvious the man dreamed of being more than a glover, which by the way was a great career for his father.

Shakespeare for his part will go down in history as one of the greatest writers in the history of the English language.

What about Charles Dickens, he is known to be a literary genius his works are just as famous as the characters he created.

Not bad for a son of a clerk who worked in the navy pay office and later would be put in jail by his creditors which was a result of the failure to pay off his debt because he lived beyond his means.

Although graced with some schooling, Dickens did not have it easy he worked hard as a child and teenager, but he would go on to use the different backdrops in his life to conceive the most memorable sociological stories of his time.

Dickens did not always know what he wanted to do, but he knew he wanted to be famous.

And we know the outcome of his life he used the tragedy and misfortunes of his life transforming them into writings and stories that still entertain us today. Some would go on to become movies.

Robert Kiyosaki of the Rich Dad Poor Dad fame. From velcro wallets to famed author, businessman and financial guru.

The author of more than twenty-six books but before that he was the son of an academic and educator and his mom was a registered nurse. He was well educated and honored for his military service.

Even though he was well educated, his first job after his military service was a sales associate for Xerox, but he wanted more. Later he would start a company called Rippers which brought the first Nylon and Velcro surfer wallet to the market. This business would end up going bankrupt. He started another business selling wallets, T-shirts, bags and other novelties. That company too went bankrupt.

He would later buy a company that conducted seminars on entrepreneurship and investing, and lets not forgot that he also was a real estate investor.

Even with all of the experience, he had with starting and running businesses and investing, including the successes and failures, Robert Kiyosaki would not claim his first milestone achievement until after he wrote his first book If You Want to Be Rich and Happy, Don’t Go To School.

I will tell you it was not until Rich Dad Poor Dad hit the market that I took note of the financial structure and reality of the majority of the people in this world.

Whatever you may think of Robert Kiyosaki, whether he be, a financial pirate, R matey. Or, he be an open-minded financial educator or a financial guru, the authorship of his many books helped him parlay that wealth into a financial educational system and company that sells franchises to others who want to own a piece of Rich Dad Seminars. X marks the spot.

Except for speaking engagements, I do not think this guy even works anymore.

Napoleon Hill of Think and Grow Rich fame, this book is one of the ten best selling books of all time.

His parents were of little means by the fact that he was raised in a one-room cabin. His mother died at an early age, and later he would get a gift in the form of a stepmother that help him sound down the importance of schooling. At the age of thirteen, he began writing.

He was the champion of a string of failed business that ended up in bankruptcy. But that did not stop him. This guy was determined to be successful at something even if it required arrest warrants for violating the blue sky laws. This excursion and brush with the law would not be the only engagement in questionable and unlawful practices.

If at first, you do not succeed, try try and try again.

Napoleon Hill's first published work, The Law of Success, would mark a turn around for this defunct businessman. But this would not dispel his financial troubles. The great depression would see to that.

He tried publishing another book, and it bombed, leading him to return to the bad habit of starting businesses that would eventually lead to failure. But he did not let that stop him because later he would write his bestseller Think and Grow Rich.

I do not advocate breaking the law or defrauding your fellow man or woman. I do not recommend living beyond your means or unethical shenanigans all of which Napoleon Hill engaged in and practiced.

The lesson we can learn from this man is. In spite of his failures, he continued to beat the proverbial head against the brick wall until success was sure to come spilling out.

My final author is George Samuel Clason. He attended the University of Nebraska. A soldier who fought in the Spanish-American War.

But after all of these years, his mark on history and claim to fame will rest with his book The Richest Man In Babylon, which was compiled from his series of informational pamphlets about being thrifty or now the term is frugal and how to achieve financial success.

Clason was the owner of Clason Map Company a successful map making company, although his business would not stand the test of time the book The Richest Man In Babylon could spare many from poverty if they followed the principles written in its pages.

Just consider that the parables carefully conveyed through the pages of the book was written and published in 1926, and after all of these years and several market crashes and world-changing events, the content is just as relevant today than it ever was. The book certainly deserves a spot in the top ten financial advice books ever written.

Many who came through the great depression sought the practical guidance found in the pages of this book for building and maintaining wealth. George Clason continued to live off of the royalties of the book even after his company closed.

One last thought on this man a masterful storyteller and about his book, and that is, the book was published by his other company Clason Publishing Company. Would that make him a self-publisher?

It does not matter what your background is, it does not matter what your schooling maybe, no one cares how many businesses of yours go bankrupt, and even if you have had a run-in with the law or whether the stock market crashes. The writers that I have discussed here prove if you Write it, Publish it and Grow it your book could become a money book.

Step 1 Write It
Step 2 Publish It
Step 3 Grow It

Of course with the above steps, there are specific procedures you must take. But I assure you none of the steps or processes are out of your reach.

If you are young or old, you can pursue and obtain whatever goal you want to achieve. It is true not all of us will become a Bestselling Author, Home Run King, MVP, Highest Paid Actor with multiple Oscars, or have a Number One Hit on the music charts and a Grammy. However as long as the potential and the accolade is out there you should try, just do it, because one thing is for a surety someone will.

Not only can you write and publish, and grow your money book it is also another way to make money on the web.

As always if you need help getting started, send me an email or leave a comment.

If you are interested in helping me grow the success of my books especially my next novel you know what to do.

By the way, what do you think? Make your selection by leaving a comment.

Don't Quit Your Day Job Practice These 7 Steps First

Don't Quit Your Day Job Practice These 7 Steps First

You've been there; you know the euphoria of being free-spirited. Singing at the top of your lungs, you sound fabulous, you are hitting every note pitch perfect. At least you think you are. Walking on cloud nine (I'm walking on sunshine), and then your friend, family member, co-worker shat's you down.

Don't quit your day job.

Whether you sounded like Pavarotti or not, it was meant to be a joke.

But it proves to be unshakeable advice when reaching out for your dreams or that dream job, maybe your first venture as an entrepreneur.

With that warning now uttered, do not let it be the reason why you do not reach out for the ring of gold. Because one day you will be able to quit your day job and bask in the success of doing what you want.

Each day you put off doing the thing you always wanted to do is a day lost. It is just like saving, or investing, it is one day of lost interest and earning potential.

What if I fail, what if it does not work, what if, what if.

So what can you do now? How about a practice run.

Step 1 Let's solve a problem or answer a question, how about we work on something everyone is talking about, a vacuum very few people have filled.

Examples:
Direct Internet Traffic
Easy eBook creation
Government dysfunction
What to watch on TV
How to make extra money
Choosing a side hustle
Raising smart money kids
How to tame your social media habits
What is cryptocurrency and how to profit from it
How to take advantage of the new tax plan

The alternative to Step 1, If you cannot come up with something unique, then copy something you like.

If you are a web surfer talk about your favorite websites, if you are a reader, your top ten list of favorite books, if you go to the movies every weekend, write a critique of the last five theatrical spectacles you have seen. Maybe you are a social media drama queen or king, then show others how to use social media.

Remember this is practice, I aim to show you how easy it is to get started without quitting your day job.

Step 2 Research you're new favorite pass time to see if it will hold your attention and the attention of others.

If you are already an expert on the topic, you are ahead of the class, but it is still recommended you research the subject to see what others know or do not know. Just in case you have to debunk another expert and cause a little controversy.

Step 3 Develop a name for your new favorite pass time. Make it easy for others to find it on the web.

Make the name short, catchy and memorable, give them something to talk about, it could become a household name.

Step 4 Create a home on the web for your surefire resolution to the thing that has plagued the world from its beginning.

It is recommended you buy and host a domain. You can get this done through bluehost.com, godaddy.com or another domain registrar or if you are low on cash than you can start with a blogger account from Google or another free blogger account like WordPress.

Step 5 Serve up some content, in the form of articles, pictures, videos, puzzles, whatever you choose making it appetizing to the mental palate. Do Not forget the most important reason why you are participating in this exercise to solve a problem, answer a question, or just to entertain.

If one sentence or a few video clips, or some thought-provoking images would captivate your audience and keep them entertained or informed, then you have done your job. However, on the internet, you will need loads of content so that the search engines will pick up the tracks you are laying down. The more you write, the more input that you provide, the more likely you will grow your audience.

Step 6 Get social, make contact with other professionals who have made a name for themselves as experts and influencers on the web. Do Not forget to reach out for support from family, friends, co-workers, and other entrepreneurs.

You will find your audience hanging out on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media sites.

You will also want to visit other blogs and sites, which are similar to your site. Get to know them, leave comments about their content, ask to borrow some of their data, become friends, share and share alike.

One thing to do for sure, ask if you can leave a link on your site referring to their website. Flattery is such a sweet compliment, and perhaps they will do the same for you.

Step 7 Monetize, connect with companies that pay you to promote their site, products, advertisements, credit cards, books, new ideas, inventions the list goes on.

Mega sites like Amazon, Google, Clickbank, and other affiliate sites are eager to use you to continue growing their real estate on the world wide web if you would like to know more about affiliate marketing just do a quick search. Note: do not get lost in information overload.

You can also sell and promote your books, software, services or products.

Another way to make money from your site is by selling other peoples stuff.

For instance your top ten list of favorite books. If you have signed up for affiliate marketing with Amazon, you can get links to those books insert them into your page. And when people click on the link you get paid. Amazon also will give you extra money if they buy something else while purchasing the book you suggested. This money making method will work with your top five movies you have seen in the past year. Even better if your favorite website author has a book, you guessed it get that Amazon link.

After practicing, you are well on your way to repeating this formula as many times as you like. You also can take on your lifelong dream; you know that thing you always wanted to do.

If you are successful, then you can ignore your friend, family or co-workers advice.

You can quit your day job.

If you need help with any of the seven steps listed above, please feel free to ask via comment or email.

If on the other hand the seven steps above are just too much work you can always make some money from my site. www.iincmm.com
