Why Do People Pay For Money Making Schemes?

You are looking on the web for a way to make some extra money, you have your reasons. Eventually it turns into a exasperating dead end search of money making schemes and scams, there are plenty to choose from. Finally you open a link, it appears to be a legitimate opportunity to make that extra cash you need.  Its even been endorsed by well known sources. You begin reading  and decide to view the video, which goes into a 30 minute spill about how much money the sponsor of the site makes. He even mentions many times, how he does not need your money. Sometimes these landing pages have you believe the program is free, no upfront cost.

I will stop right here, I do not need to paint this picture any further, the outline is enough. Most of those schemes, programs, ebooks, websites are only designed to make the author money. That is the cold hard truth, which by the way can be easily duplicated, by having someone write an ebook for you, then you set up your own landing page, and make a thirty minute video, throw in a few other tricks of the trade. Which I am sure with a little research and  you could be on your way to becoming the next great internet guru.

Still the question has to be asked, Why do people pay for money making schemes?

What if you where looking, searching, asking for a job?  You finally landed the interview of your dreams. The hiring manager ask you a few questions, You ask him or her a few questions. Then he proceeds to tell you about his company, how it got started, how much it makes, why his company is so successful. He or She takes you on a tour around the facility. Thirty minutes or more has past, you are sold, if he offers you the job, you are ready to take it. Your dream comes true, he or she tells you. You are just the person we've been looking for. You say YES. And then the hiring manager says (to get started will only cost you $59.99). If you want to be advanced to the top $199.99, we are giving you a very good deal, we could sell this hiring package for $1999.99 easily. You must act fast, because by the end of the day it will cost you $2999.99 to get in on the ground floor. How would you like to pay for this, we except Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, or Paypal.

Why would you pay anyone to work for them? I am willing to bet you would walk out of that job interview, no questions asked. The only reason you should pay someone money, to work for them is if you are buying a franchise, and even then you should be skeptical.

Wouldn't it be great if just once someone said (I do not want your money until you make money)?

What if they said (I will show you how to _________________ you fill in the blank. When you start making money, or saving money, or get out of debt, when your make money at home business makes money; That’s when you pay me for my services.) That is why I say, “put your money where your mouth is.”
